Diana Pustuła, MA, LL.M.
Since July 1, 2018, head of the Office for International Research and Liaison, deputy Secretary General of the 4EU+ Alliance, coordinator of horizontal activities at the University of Warsaw within the 4EU+ Alliance and Excellence Initiative – Research University, member of the "HR Excellence in Research Award" team, project leader: "Transforming ReseArch & INnovation agendas and support in 4EU+", previously deputy head of the Research Services Office (since 2007);
A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, she also earned an international Legum Magister (LL.M.) degree as part of her postgraduate, specialized law studies at the Dresden University of Technology. She also completed postgraduate studies at the University of Cambridge (Diploma, EU Law), at the University of Warsaw (Intellectual Property Law and Accounting and Auditing); and at the German University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer (DAAD scholarship)- knowledge management (Wissenschaftsmanagement). As a recipient of the H.H. Humphrey Scholarship awarded by the Polish-American Fulbright Commission, she completed a one-year program in Educational Administration, Leadership, Planning, and Policy at Pennsylvania State University and a month-long internship at the University of Washington, Office of Sponsored Programs; She is also a graduate of the UW Leadership Academy.
She worked as a translator of EU legal acts from English and German into Polish at the General Secretariat of the Council of the EU in Brussels; She headed the Regional Contact Point “Centre” of EU Research Programmes (2014-2020), chaired the EU Research Liaison Officers Group of the UNICA network of Capital Universities (2017-2021), leader of the “LEGAL” Working Group within Network 1302 of the COST Programme – BESTPRAC (Building Network of Administrative Excellence) 2014-2017, an expert of the EC – group for simplification of rules in the EU Framework Programmes and twice an evaluator of applications in calls for proposals for MSCA COFUND, a member of expert groups of the European University Association, a member of the Expert Practitioners’ Group for FP Simplification (GEPs) – IGLO/KoWi from 2022, a member of the working group for the Horizon Europe programme at the Polish Chamber of Commerce for High Technology from 2023.
Since 2009, she has been a lecturer of the basics of intellectual property protection (students of W.I.S.P. and Cognitive Science), postgraduate studies lecturer and trainer on the principles of participation in international research programs and the management and administration of international research projects. She has many years of experience in preparing research project proposals, negotiating grant and consortium agreements, organizing international mock-interviews (ERC grants), etc.

Anna Balcerzak, MA
Graduated from the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science at the University of Warsaw (M.A. in political science). She completed Postgraduate Studies in Administration at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw and Postgraduate Management Studies: Management of a higher education institution at the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw. Professionally affiliated with the University since 2004, she has gained experience in European research projects since 2015, starting with a project under the 7th Framework Programme. In the Office for International Research and Liaison since September 2019. She supports UW employees in applying for European-funded scientific projects, including the most prestigious European Research Council grants, and after receiving them in their implementation and reporting process.

Bartosz Brach, MA
Warsaw resident from Żoliborz. Graduate of the Faculty of Sociology and the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw. Professionally associated with the University of Warsaw since 2010, initially with the Interdisciplinary Center for Mathematical and Computational Modeling as an administrative assistant for projects of the Foundation for Polish Science. Then, at the Center of New Technologies - a member of the team supporting scientific projects. And since 2017 an employee of the Research Service Office in the international projects section. Currently an member of the Office for International Research and Liaison dealing with support in acquiring and implementing international projects financed from national sources from the NCN, NCBiR and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education but also from other foreign programs, such as (among others) COST, the Visegrad Fund or EMBO. Privately in constant movement: bike, gym, and in the summer kayaks and SUP. In winter skiing.

Hanna Bylicka, MSc
Graduate of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering at Poznań University of Life Sciences and the Faculty of Modern Languages (English Studies) at Warsaw University. She gained professional experience in the United Kingdom, in a design office, where she worked on numerous engineering projects for several years, particularly in the water and sewerage industry. Then, in Poland, she worked in the road industry, in the implementation of road investments co-financed by European funds. Since 2020, she has been an employee of the Office for International Research and Liaison at the University of Warsaw, where she supports researchers in applying and implementing international projects funded by national sources such as the NCN, the NCBiR and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, as well as from other foreign programmes e.g. the CELSA Research Fund, Polsko-Niemiecka Fundacja na rzecz Nauki.
Privately, she loves the Baltic Sea in the off-season, Latvia and any travel to the unknown.

Marta Jaworska-Oknińska, PhD
Graduated from the Faculty of History at the University of Warsaw, where she defended her PhD thesis in 2019. She has been a member of the 4EU+ Local Office at UW (Office for International Research and Liaison) since December 2019. She coordinates 4EU+ educational activities and represents UW in the 4EU+ Alliance Working Group Education. She is the head of the International Joint Study Programmes and Dual Degree Programmes administrative support team, operating under the University of Warsaw's Education Support Centre, and she serves as a coordinator of international study programmes at UW. Dr Jaworska-Oknińska supports academic and administrative staff in the internationalisation of higher education and study programmes, and in obtaining funding from the Erasmus Mundus programmes (Design Measures and Joint Masters). She is an expert on the European Degree.

Katarzyna Ścierańska, MA
Graduated from the Faculty of History at the University of Warsaw. She has been a member of the 4EU+ Local Office at UW (Office for International Research and Liaison) since December 2021. In the 4EU+ Alliance, she is responsible for communication and dissemination activities and is seconded to the 4EU+ General Secretariat as a Communication Officer. She co-leads the 4EU+ Communication Working Group. In the 4EU+ 1CORE project, she coordinates the Communication and Dissemination work package. She participated in the first European Universities project (2019-2022) and was also involved in the TRAIN4EU+ project (Horizon 2020 SwafS, 2021-2023) and the European Degree pilot project, ED-AFFICHE (2023-2024). From 2018 to 2021, she worked at the UW Open University.

Marta Brelih-Wąsowska, MA
Graduate of Applied Linguistics (University of Warsaw) and International Economics (Warsaw School of Economics). She has also completed programmes in International Administration (Université du Québec à Montréal, as part of the INTERPARSE project) and Management (Vrije Universiteit Brussel). She gained experience in EU project management and international communication while working at the General Secretariat of the UNICA Network in Brussels. She has been professionally affiliated with the University of Warsaw since November 2018. Since 2019, she has been a member of the 4EU+ Alliance Team, where she is responsible for communication, promotion, and dissemination activities. As a 4EU+ Communications Manager she is seconded to the 4EU+ General Secretariat in Brussels. She has also chaired the 4EU+ Alliance Communications Working Group since 2019.
